Catalog series developed for museum’s continuing new acquisition exhibitions
The Sheldon Museum began to mount yearly exhibitions based new acquisitions added to its collections. The collection highlighted in the catalog could entirely be new to the museum or the recent acquisitions may be additions to an existing collection.
A format was developed for these catalogs that is flexible enough to contain various kinds of objects while still holding together as a cohesive series. The color for the catalogs is derived from one of the principle artworks in the catalog.
